I have been lucky to engage in many and varied professional fields over the years, but if I had to choose just one strength, it would be the talent to identify a good idea, develop it and turn it into a reality, always paying attention to the smallest details.
I began my career as an art director, and moved up to become VP of Creative at some of Israel's leading advertising agencies. I was a partner in creating advertising campaigns for major Israeli brands, television, print and digital. I entered the advertising industry as a young designer right after graduating, and left about a decade later as VP of Creative with many achievements in my bag. It was a long and fascinating journey.
After I left the advertising industry, I was recruited to manage the marketing communications department of KATA (later called MANFROTTO BAGS) - one of the largest manufacturers in the world of bags and carrying equipment for cameras and video gear. At KATA, I discovered the field of international marketing - an area in which I am still in love with.
I set up and led a large marketing communications department that included designers, content experts, webmasters and producers, and engaged in branding and bringing to market dozens of products a year. Together we produced videos, various sales aids, exhibitions, websites, engaged in digital tool development, social media management, and close support of the company's distributors and dealers in dozens of countries around the world.
In 2014, after the company was sold to a British corporation, I chose to embark on a new path as an entrepreneur. Together with partners I founded Miggo, where I served as CMO and as the Chief Creative Officer. Miggo focused on the development of innovative products in the field of traditional photography and mobile photography. The company operated simultaneously in a model of distributors and direct sales, and its products were sold in hundreds of leading chains in the US, Europe and Asia and of course in a variety of online channels.
At Miggo I developed and led 6 crowd-funding campaigns under the Kickstarter and Indigogo platforms, with an exceptional total fundraising achievement of approximately $1.5 million.
In 2021 we completed the sale of Miggo to the American company ADORAMA.
In 2020, while I was still working at Miggo (until its sale in 2021), I joined Movinglife as CMO. The company develops, manufactures and markets advanced scooters and mobile solutions for disabled, around the world.
Together with the great team I recruited, I significantly strengthened the company's e-commerce activity, launched the company's new flagship product - ATTO Sport - and made a significant move in the US, UK and the Netherlands transitioning from a distributor model to a direct marketing model by establishing local subsidiaries and full marketing support from headquarters in Israel.
During my tenure, I was a partner in the company's significant increase in activity, and together with the company's management we reached new sales records.
In my free time I enjoy spending time in my home workshop, where I design furniture and lighting fixtures from reclaimed materials. Another passion of mine is music. I am an amateur but passionate musician, guitarist and bassist, and play regularly in a number of bands. And since I live in a wooded and rural area I also enjoy riding road and mountain bikes.
Besides, I am father to Noam, Itai and Tamar and spouse of Sigal. My family and I live in the village of Srigim, located in the heart of a pine forest, near the Ella Valley.
